The sample unit was conducted using purposive sampling method. The sample unit in this research is individual. Because researchers cannot know the exact number of this delay population, then the sample size used in this research is 182 respondents. The sampling technique is using non probability sampling.

The survey was conducted to all of android smartphone based user in the Province of DIY. The purpose of this research is to test and analyze about (1) the positive effect of knowledge (K) toward relative advantage (RA) (2) the negative effect of relative advantage (RA) toward intention to delay (ITD) (3) the positive effect of perceived complexity (C) toward attitude to delay (ATD) (4) the positive effect of attitude to delay (ATD) toward intention to delay (ITD) (5) the positive effect of perceived risk (PR) toward attitude to delay (ATD) and (6) the positive effect of perceived risk (PR) toward intention to delay (ITD). Research results also show an additional internal factor of perceived responsibility, which means perceived duty as an individual to do good for society and the environment. In terms of external factors, consumers named contextual factors for sustainable consumption, social norms and the promotion of sustainable consumption. The research results reveal that these consumers were affected by cognitive, attitudinal and psychosocial factors. The authors employed a qualitative method approach, conducting semi-structured interviews with consumers engaged in sustainable consumption in Lithuania. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explore the factors that determine pro-environmental and pro-social consumer engagement in sustainable consumption. Moreover, the recent research is limited to identifying individual factors of this phenomenon. Although recently the pro-environmental and pro-social engagement concept has received considerable attention, there is still no consensus on what determines it. The pro-environmental and pro-social consumer engagement in sustainable consumption may lead to behavioral change, thus contributing to the resolution of current global challenges. Sustainable consumption, provision of a clean and healthy environment, as well as improvements to the quality of life of current and future generations, are all integral parts of the sustainable development strategy, which is understood as a compromise between the environmental, economic and social objectives of society.
